General_Gao (2480), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 4, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Smelled of light honey with an added hint of noble hops. Poured a clear light golden color. The head consisted of a white ring. Light bodied and dry with biscuity malt and subdued noble hop flavors. So so at best. valleyguzzler (26), USA Jun 5, 2008 Not terribly impressed. With the lack of hops (like most lights) this should have been served colder and it may have come across as more refreshing.
Gave the impression of flat beer that had been watered down. Sort of like Old Milwaukee with a little more character. jaymobrown (1296), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 15, 2007 Light color with slightly fizzy look. Hops, somewhere. Some yeast. Really? Acidic and bitter. Bland and boring. Nope. Skyview (2800), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 23, 2007 On draught at the brewpub restaurant in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. Pours a light golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a thin white ring with spotty lacing. Aroma has some light bready malt with a hint of citrus peel. Taste is highly carbonated, light bodied, with a light bready flavor. Finish is smooth, creamy with a mild bready aftertaste and a sharp bitterness. Ughsmash (2982), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 1, 2005 Must have had a better batch than jewedekind :) Bright golden pour with a well-retained creamy white head. Aroma was akin to most other pale lagers.. with not a whole lot going on, but I did not find it offensive in any way. Creamy and smooth through the palate, with a mildly bitter finish. Not too much in the flavor.. as expected, with just some light hops. Just an average pale lager.
