Short light brown head that goes down to a thin lace. Redish brown color. The aroma is malt dominated with a litle figs. The taste is sweet malty with litle if any bitterness. The body rather thinn. Smoth drinking but boring. Is there any brown ale that isn’t boring?

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours a brown color with a mediumsized beige head. Fruity aroma, mostly dried fruits and toffee. Flavour is notably sweet, with lots of caramel and dried fruits. Medium bodied, rather smooth, with soft carbonation. Not bad, but very simple.

(Bottle) Pours clear dark copper red to dark mahogany brown with a pale nougat coloured head. The aroma is rather bread grainy and chocolate malty with a weak UK hop profile of woody, earthy, spicy and citric hints. Some crisp bread and mild coffee roast. A mix from the caramelized malt and butterscotch-ish diacetyl brings notes of toffee. Bit nutty and syrupy as well. A whisper of vanilla and raisins. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of chocolate, nuts, dark bread, light crisp bread, English hops, herbs, dark syrup, light toffee and a trace of diacetyl. Light vinegar acidic. Maybe a bit fruity. The mouthfeel is light watery with a light crisp carbonation. Abrupt finish, only a light grainy chocolate tone lingers. Light to medium bodied.
