Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and the body is thin.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Dark, orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Fruity nose. Medium body, lightly sweet, roasted malts and a distinct fruitiness throughout. The finish is dry. 070907

Bottled. Transparently black, rich but fairly brief head. Grainy nose. Medium sweet with lots of flavour from roasty malt - coffee predominatly, and some honey on top of that. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Light salty bitterness. A well balanced, quite drinkable porter.

Blind tasting at sk8vikings porter / stout tasting, beer no 29. Pours brown with a reddish hue, light brown head. Slight citric and heavy overroasted malt. Sour and citric flavour with a touch of overroasted malt.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Deep amber colour with huge beige fluffy head. Aroma is roasted malts, some nuts and coffee. Flavour is mild honey, roasted malts, some mild hops and coffee. Quite harsh hoppy finish and aftertaste with some really dry ashyness.

Bottle. Dark brown coloured with a beige ehad. Light roasted aroma of fruits and liquorice. Light roasted flavour of liquorice, malts and caramel.

clear dark brown with ruby edges, wipsy beige head, honey sweet milk chocolate aroma with sweet vanilla, rich dark chocolate flavor, nice sweetness, little to no hops adds balance without having anything more than a light hop character,

black, fine tan head, bits of drippy lace, sweet chocolate and honey aroma with light roasted malt, creamy body, rich chocolate malt flavor, nice honey swetness, good combination of dark chocolate fromt the roasted and milk chocolate with the honey sweetness, very light balancing bitterness,

Black color; huge head. Artificial aroma; honey, vanilla, sweet wood; not lasting. Dry caramel taste, light roasted malt. Too dry at the end, and too much roasted malt for me.
To be drunk alone, it’s not my kind; but it’s not bad overall, and it’s better to pair with food, which soften its corners.
