Sep 27, 2007 I had expectations on this brewe and they are fulfilled! It´s a complex and well made one. Aroma has coffee, nuts, burnt wood and sweet malt. Palte is dry. I recomend this brownish red brew to all of U who like porter.

Nov 20, 2007 Bottle. Dark brown with a fierce, light brown head that almost disappeared. Intense coffee and chocolate aroma. Chocolate, vanilla and coffee flavours with just a hint of honey towards the finish. Fluffy texture, some alcohol. A nice surprice.

Sep 1, 2007 Bottle:Brown colour, with a nice creamy head. Flavor is coffee,dark chocolate and a nice bitter nose in the end. Nice balance. Flavor is exactly the same, with a nice smourth mouth feeling, medium body and a nice medium finish. Nice and easy drinky Porter!

Mar 27, 2007 Had on tap at Davis Island, FL. Pours a dark creamy brown. Has hints of malts, chocolate, and nuts. Sweet unlike most porters. Full bodied with a nice finish.

Aug 13, 2007 In the bottle from HyVee CB. Pours black with mahogany highlites. Has a thick dense beige head. Presents the aroma of a freshly baking chocolate cake. Big honey finish to the nose. The flavor is a big chocolate malted lactose milk sugar surprise. The honey flavor becomes dominant as the beer warms. There’s a mild coffee roastedness on the tongue during the mid-palate. This is a thick and delightful brew. I’d certainly drink this again. Perhaps I am rediscovering my love of porters?
