Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, fruit, and alcohol.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruity and flowery hops along with some hints of honey and grass. Also a bit malty. Flavour is fruits, some flowery and some berries. Also some earthyness. Pleasantly balanced and very drinkable, then again at the same time quite boring.

Bottled (BB 03/2009, Vasa session). Pale amber color, decent off-white head, lace. Grapefruit and peach in the nose. Alas the flavor: sweet honeyish grapefruity and peach fruity flavor. Some grainy, berry-like notes too. Hops are dominant in the aftertaste. Quite typical Shipyard.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a medium frothy off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is grapefruit, orange peel and raisin. Good sticky lacing along the glass. The taste is a light malt fruit with a nice bitter finish. Not much hops for a IPA but still good from Shipyard.

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, orange-golden color, and topped by an off-white ,creamy head. Sweetish and malty on the nose, disappointingly low on hops. Maybe getting a bit old? The flavor is much the same, too low on the hops, but with a fine sweet and malty background. Full-bodied. The finish has some more hops though, biney and bitter as it is. As the beer presents itselves, it’s not much IPA-ish, more like a sweetened up APA. Drinkable and quite decent though. (090213)

(Bottle) Clear amber colour with frothy, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of toffee, ryvita, dried apricots and grapefruity hops. Malty, fruity taste with grapefruit, dried apricots, ryvita, toffee and slightly dusty, citrussy hops in the finish. Medium body with a solid crystal malt foundation. Mainly dry and very well balanced with the hops coming through better in the taste than in the nose. Possibly lacking that little extra something, but still a nice and well made IPA.
