Aroma was more malt than hops. Flavor was malty and had some decent hops. An easy beer to drink and pretty enjoyable, just not a world class IPA. Veer (355), Landskrona, Sweden

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Amber with a small white head. Fruity and flowery notes. Tastre of fruit, malt and hops. Medium body with balanced, slightly bitter finish. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Nice copper color with a big creamy khaki head. Aroma didn’t scream IPA - but instead ringwood. Quite a bit of butterscotch and caramel corn in the nose. There’s a slight backing of floral hops. Flavor features a touch more hops, mainly floral with a light trace of orange rind citrus. Fruity buttery malts are balanced to the hop, leading to a semi-sweet finish with a lingering combo of hop bitterness and butterscotch. Could be a good British IPA but the diacetyl is just a bit too over the top in this one. Joakgust (337), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Bottle, 355 ml - Copper colored beer with a thick off white head. Sweet caramel aroma with strong notes of hops and grapefruit. Hints of ripe fruits can be found. A hoppy flavor dominates, though hints of caramel and grass are apparent. An enjoyable beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2008 12 ounce bottle from Total Wine. Any beer dubbed "Brewer’s Choice" has GOT to be worth trying, right? Pours a small head with a tan rim and an amber color. Nose is piney hops and caramel maltiness. Flavors are similar to the aroma with more grassy hops and caramel with a crisp and smooth, slightly metallic aftertaste of green apples. Full-bodied with medium/high carbonation. A quite smooth drinking IPA. Not bad.
