355ml bottle. Clear copper with a nice thick off-white head. Sweet hoppy aroma, flowery, some caramel, grass and metal. Taste is sweet, caramel, with a dry and bitter finish. Surprisingly thick.

Bottle. Moderate roasted smell for the malt, light herbs for the hops, moderate dough for the yeast, with a faint wood note. Head is between frothy and fizzy, slightly off white, with no lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear orange tan. Flavor starts moderately acidic and finishes moderately acidic and bitter and a little sour. Palate is light to medium, dry with some stickiness and has a lively carbonation. It finishes moderately astringent. Not really bad aromas, but it’s definitely missing the piney/citrus smells I like from an IPA.

Bottle/Draught: Lots of hype in town. Bitter and hoppy with an average taste. What makes it Royal?

Golden color to amber, with a big head. The aroma is a bit soapy, covering some light hop. It has a dry mouthfeel, with a well structured body, strong caramel taste and strong bitterness (with an earthy touch), A pleasant (even if not American) IPA, straightforward.

Bottle. Nice creamy big head. Really beautiful amber color. Aroma is sweet with some caramel notes. Flavor is fruity and a bit hoppy with a nice caramel touch and a bitter finish. There is a light sweetness to it also. Enjoyable.

Small head, light amber pour. Aroma of malt with a slight citrus edge. Taste is moderate hops balanced with malt. Lingering bitterness on the tongue.
