[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] A pale orange-brown beer with thin but dense off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also some slight roasted nutty notes. The flavor is lightly sweet combined with light notes of nuts, oranges, and citrus, leading to a dry end. The body is thin. Boring.

Dark copper brown, small tanned head. Aroma is dominated by brown sugar. Light to medium-bodied. Typical brown ale sweetness. Starts promising but flavors fade out in the finish.

Draft… More amber than brown with a small, creamy, white head. There are some nice, fat bubbles floating about the top. Mostly caramel and nuts in the aroma with suggestions of toffee and chocolate. Medium-bodied and a little oily with kicked-back carbonation. The flavor is sweet toffee and lightly toasted nuts. Finishes moderately sweet and nutty.

Bottle. Quite a sweet, grainy brown ale. Some caramel/chocolate. Not too many flavours pop out, its just pretty easy to drink brown ale.

A rather unusual beer. Beautiful mahogany colour with a reddish tinge. Very woody and slightly sweet at the same time. Some roasted malt notes in the flavour. I thought this was interesting and rather good. Bottled at the London Joet gathering, January 2005.
