Light and coppery in the glass. Lots of aroma -- floral, herbal, hopcit. No real malt backing to the beer keeps the hops front and center, but the beer and the hops lack richness and depth.

Amber gold color, moderate malt and field aroma. An easy drinking, relatively light beer with some crispness, flowers, hops, grains. Not too special but not bad either...a decent session beer.

Translucent light gold color, fast fading head and active bubble carbonation action. Aroma is leafy or grassy tone with some sweet apple that sneaks in the end. Malty flavor with some maple making a sweet brew. There is some hops but the maple malt is too much leaving this beer unbalanced. Palate is average in a good way, no unexpectedness. In summation this is an average beer from an average brewery.

Just bought this one and a few other singles at a local store with quite a few craft beers. I generally haven’t been a big fan of Shipyard so I was pleasantly surprised when I liked this one. Pours a dark golden color with a moderate head. Not much in the way of aroma but is quite flavorful. Taste consists of a little malt, floral sweetness and a nice dry hoppy bite. Good solid Pale Ale and one of the better beers I’ve sampled from this company.

22oz bottle from BevMo. Clear amber body with a rigid tan head. It seems "glued" to the beer and is leaving no lace as I swirl it around the glass. Aroma is slightly nutty and malty with light caramel notes and spicy hops. Taste leans heavily on the hops and backed up with lighter caramel, some earthy notes, dried nuts, and toasty malts. Body is medium and mildly carbonated. Pleasant feel on the palate. Finishes with spicy hops, light sweet maltiness, caramel, and dried nuts. My favorite beer from Shipyard by far!
