This was a good english pale, but certainly not classic. It had the sweet carmel malt that you would look for in a pale. But more overwhelming there was this buttery, wood-like flavor. Very creamy texture. I liked it a lot. Pours copper color with creamy head. I’d drink it again for sure.

Amber body with a rocky tan head. Skunky, grassy aroma. Somewhat bland with a stale hoppiness in the flavor; sticky sweet finish.

Pours a nice dark gold color with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt, bread, hops. Flavor is caramel malt and a little hop bitterness along with floral notes. Middle of the road, but not bad by any means.

Bomber in Florida, served cold in a wine glass. MA03/07.

App.: Clear, medium amber, tiny white head. Aroma: light licorice/molasses, toasty-roasty malts, oddly fruity (lychee??). Palate: Medium body and carbonation. Flav.: Similar to nose,; dry with slight bitterness.

On draft at Oldsmar Tap House. Poured a murky mango color. Very thick, creamy white head, and very creamy lacing. Malty corn aromas, with a slight hop profile. Definitely an English ale. Slight acidic hop undertones, big malty body, some citrus. Decent flavor. Fully body, quite drinkable. Watery finish. Enjoyable.

Pours a slightly hazy dark orange with minimal soapy white head. Aroma is nice orange citrus hops with slight fruit sweetness. Flavor is a tad watery like most of shipyards stuff, but is definitely tastier. Nice mild sweet base with citrus hop finish that dominates. Best shipyard beer ive had.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Sugar aroma with caramel malts and citrus hops. Flavor is also sweet with caramel malts, and citrus and floral hops. Overall not bad but not that great either.

Very nice, clean pale ale. Pours clear copper with the advertised white head. Some hops and a sour yeast up front, with smoother malt sweetness at the end. Far superior to Sierra Nevada.
