(bottle - 12 oz) Clear amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is floral and hoppy at the beginning with a very mild citrus followup. Grassy and hoppy at the beginning with a slight sweet malt middle. Floral and citrus at the finish with some bitterness that lingers. Not bad.

(Bottled) Clear golden color with a small, tight head. Slightly plasticky and cardboardy, ashy and hoppy aroma. Quite aromatic-hoppy, reasonably malty and pleasant flavor. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate. A decent, aromatic but plain ale.

Coppr brown, small off-white head. Nose has fruity hops and also yeasty notes. Mildly hoppy, medium-bodied. A bit sweet, English-type session ale.

Bomber - Pours a darkish amber in color with a whitish head that faded to a faint white rim aroud the glass. Aroma is of flowery and a bit spicy hops. Flavor is quite hoppy and nicely bitter. Finish is slightly bitter and fairly lasting. A good pale ale and one worth repeating...

Bottle. Creamy malt and orange peel aroma with a hint of hops. Medium amber with small head. Slightly sour barley malt flavor with light hops finish. Toasted malt aftertaste. A nice beer but it would really take a 5/5 beer to live up to the legacy of Colonel Chamberlain and his 20th Maine boys.

22 oz. bottle from BevMo - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a 1/2 finger off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Has a noble hop, esters, and toasted malt aroma. Flavor is toasted malt and esters. Light to medium body. Watery palate. An OK beer.

The aroma has a nice hops to malt balance. The appearance is amber with a large head. The flavor is also balanced. The hops give it a mild bitterness that goes well with the slightly sweet malts and a hint of spice. The palate is thin. Nice pale ale.

Bottle. Clear amble with a medium head. Very toffeeish and caramelly malt character, and notes of pine and citrus from the hops. A bit watery and thin. Bitter finish.
