Bottle. Pours an amber body with a thin light head. Caramel and toffee. Hints of grass and earthy hoppiness. Sweet with a light floral touch. Low etoh, not bad.

Bu au Mondial de la Bière 06. Dorée foncée, pas de collet. Arome d’houblon plaisant. Goût de malte simple mais bon.

Pours copper with full tan head. The aroma is muted malts mixing with spicy to earthy hops. The taste is malty with a layer of caramel to start before spicy hops and a dash of citrus acidity like bitterness come to the surface. By midway mild earthiness, spicy and floral hops all sort of over running the malts in a mild mannered way. It ends with a slight hop tingle, a mild bit of roast and a memory of malt sweetness.

Bottle: My favorite out of the Ship Yard standard line. Not enough on the hoppiness for my tastes but a good offering overall. Its beter than sierra nevada.

Bottle (GBBF 2009) - Amber/copper coloured. Spicy malt aroma with hints of aniseed and biscuits. Nicely balanced taste with spicy malt, biscuits and hops leading to a crisp, fruity and hoppy finish.

Bottle, sampled at Tank’s Taproom Spring Beerfest. Pretty decent Pale Ale. It has a maltier aroma and flavor as one would expect from an English Pale Ale. Nice amount of bittnerness in the aftertaste.
