The aroma is lemon zest, hay, a little bit of honey, some weird floral notes. The flavor is lots of hay and honeyish malt sweetness with a little bubblegum and a grassy finish. Not too impressed. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 22, 2007 12 oz. bottle consumed at fridge temp. Blond color w/ minimal white head. Thin on the palate. Nothing much going on with this brew. Mild hop flavor. Some mild ( and I do mean mild) citrus flavor. Not much finish either. Better than most bmc offerings, but pretty average. A decent summer ale maybe. cbeers21 (589), Miami, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Served on tap in smokey bar. Pillowy white head on a golden wheaty beer. Hoppy and piney flavors are present in the front and remain in a pleasently spicey hoppy finish, which lingers on the palate. Overall I was very pleased with this entry and it went great with my onion rings. mbrandon2w (109), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 16, 2007 pours light copper. not much head. the flavor is crisp, but overall thin. there’s a mild bitter finish, with something else going on in the finish that i can’t quite name. overall not the greatest beer, but i wouldn’t turn it down if someone offered it to me. chadje (130), Pasadena, California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 14, 2007 Pours a nice pale amber color with a decent head. Smells of a funky barley that overwhelms. Taste okay initially, but a bad, rough very bitter aftertaste. nearbeer (1884), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Bottle, best by 05-07. Slightly cloudy apple cider color, with a medium head that tries to last. Aroma is butterscotch and maybe some apples underneath. Flavor starts as butterscotch, grapes and apples. Dries out considerably in the middle and end, with some bitter, herby hops. Kind of a light dry cocoa and fruit aftertaste. Palate is chalky dry and light-medium. Interesting; seems alot like an English special bitter. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Jun 12, 2007 A really fruity offering, this one kind of reminded me of a fuller bodied bud light. Very light on the palate, but really crisp and easy to drink. It seemed like it was going to be over-carbonated, but it wasn’t. Drank at room temp, probably better cold.
