Pours a clear copper color with a medium frothy off white head leaving behind decent spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet hop with citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet malt upfront finishing with a nice hop finish. Easy to drink, a decent blond from Shipyard. yemenmocha (421), Glendale, Arizona, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Pours slightly hazy golden with off-white head. Nose is rather weak with some buttery grain elements and faint citrus. Palate is more citrusy-sharp, though still thin bodied, and has that buttery flavor coming through again. Finish is short and has more buttery flavors. Vertical Bacon Strips (902), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Kinda dry ale that goes down smooth with a tad bit of bitterness hiding behind a warm malt taste. smelt decent enough and went down quite easily after the brain made me swish it longer than usual. Had that grassy gold colour. Needed to be in a pitcher and chugged in a smoky bar, not a nice hotel room in Temecula. roder60 (1030), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Haze in appearance. Gold with some orange hue. Virtually no head. Big caramel malt aroma. Fairly pungent beer. Watery malt taste. With slight hop taste at the end. Not a very pleasant beer, but hell it is beer. Malt is the dominating aroma/flavor. Decent brew, but now that I have tried it once it is time to move on. tarheels86 (799), Washington DC, USA

Earthy, floral aroma with sweet caramel malt. Flavor has a lot of Scottish malt character with some Worcestershire sauce. Fairly noticeable English balancing hops. Watery body overall. A good session beer but nothing that impressive. Rciesla (3761), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
