Nut brown, small white head. Mild toffee-sweetish aroma, lightly hoppy. Medlum-bodied. Malty with gently hops in the finish. Almost more like a pilsener than an ale/bitter kind of beer. BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Light nutty, caramel flavor at first turning to a hoppy lemon taste. A good one from Shipyard. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Aroma is spritzy and musty like the pages of an old book. Pale golden color with a thumb thick, fluffy white head. Bready/malty fore with a hint of grape fruitiness. Finish is spritzy and very lightly hopped. I really like this one as a session beer though and feel it has a little more depth that the ratings give it credit for.

Somewhat musky, musty aroma. Poured real nice. Pale gold with a very fluffy white head. Sweet malt and cereal flavor. Somewhat thin, but not excessively so. I am at a loss as to the low rating because I think this is a top notch beer. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Pours a clear amber color with an OK sized head. FIzzled a little bit. No lacing either. Deep malt and hop balance in the aroma. Good balance in the taste. Sweet and herbal as well. My first beer from Shipyard and they did a fine job with this. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Decent aroma of malts and hops. Decent in taste as well, more of the same. Fair. Better than their pumpkin beer, which is the only other Shipyard brew I’ve had. Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Taste has some sweet and herbal notes. Nice hoppy finish. This is a decent everyday ale. tbarnette (105), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
