Amber with a rather small, bubbly head.
Some hoppy toffee-aroma.
Crips and fresh flavour with toffee-notes and fine maltiness. FROTHINGSLOSH (2006), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

This was my first tasting of this beer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a caramel color with a medium sized yellow-tan head. The aroma is sweet and vaguely nutty. The flavor is sharp and has a strong macro sour malt element with a nut undertone. The end result is rather vile and I ended up pouring this one down the drain. rickgordon (3300), Göteborg, Sweden

Amber colour. Notes of honey and hops in aroma. Flavour is American Pale Ale Style - crisp and hoppy - with notes of honey. Flavourful with a balanced bitterness. thegreenrooster (1835), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Aroma is slightly hoppy but nothing really stands out. Flavor is kind of bready and hoppy but again nothing stands out for you to notice. Ok beer, somthing easy to drink and not offensive. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 13, 2005 Updated: Mar 7, 2005[Update 3/7/05 - got fresher bottle with better body, raised rating from 2.8] Aroma is faint and hoppy. Flavor is a lot like an IPA except the hops are more bitter/less floral and the malt is more assertive, leading to a nice mix of flavors dominated by sour-grape tartness. Aftertaste is hopped and tart. The body of this beer is thin and insubstantial yet highly carbonated. It’s definitely worth a try. hobgoblin (163), St-Épiphane, Quebec, Canada

Looks like the Molson Export but the american version but the taste .... very good, for this kind of beer, its the best i ever taste, verry hopy, taste like an IPA, lightly floral hops. Over all impression is 13 but for this kind of beer, could be 18/20.
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 28, 2005 Clear light amber body, thin off-white head. Earthy, slightly cardboardy aroma. Earthy hops and light sweet biscuity malt flavor. Has a light leafy (tobacco) kick at the end. Not very impressive or interesting. jasonp (1510), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 24, 2005 Clear golden with quickly dissapating white head. Aroma is lightly malty and perfumy with some citrus. Taste is the same as the aroma with some lemon zest, grain and lightly floral bitter hops in the finish. Moderately sweet. Medium body with subtle carbonation. No lacing or head retention. Drinkable but boring.
