Earthy hops and light sweet biscuity malt flavor. Has a light leafy (tobacco) kick at the end. Not very impressive or interesting. jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 24, 2005 Clear golden with quickly dissapating white head. Aroma is lightly malty and perfumy with some citrus. Taste is the same as the aroma with some lemon zest, grain and lightly floral bitter hops in the finish. Moderately sweet. Medium body with subtle carbonation. No lacing or head retention. Drinkable but boring. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

There is a hint of lemon taste in this one. Generously hopped and malty this one does not disappoint despite being just a little salty. Wonderful nose and head. Deep golden color and a light sweet malty aftertaste. Wonderful! maupie (622), Roosendaal, Netherlands
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2004 This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter. KarmanGhia (276), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2004 Updated: Jul 14, 2005This one pours a gold that is slightly darker than you average macro. The head is just off-white and it diminishes quickly. The nose is lightly lemon-piney and sweet. The first taste is a present but relatively mild bitterness with hints of grapefruit. It is followed by a bubblegum or honey sweetness in the middle and a mildly dry finish. This is not bad for the style, and it doesn’t taste exactly like a pilsner as beers of this style are prone to do. fly (1332), austin, Tejas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2004 On the one hand this starts as a simple ale - which is ultimately just what it IS, but a very well crafted ale that has balance of malt and hops and an excellent finish. Could drink loads of this with pleasure.
