Bottle to cup. Gold copper color. Very minimal head and no lacing. Malty scent. Kinda watery / skunky. One dimensional flavor. Probably won’t buy again.

Another one of the affordable local options I often find in the fridge. It’s OK, not spectacular and isn’t made by Anheuser-Busch.

On tap at The Beechtree. This was the only thing on tap that I had not previously had so I got myself a real pint. Quite disappointed. I’d have been better off getting a tasting portion and ordering a better beer. This one started off looking somewhat promising, pouring a lightly hazed amber with a rapidly deflating white head. Some aromas of spice and sweet malt. Thin to medium bodied without much flavor, save for a "I’d swear that’s a macro" corn cereal flavor before a lackluster attempt at a gently bitter finish.

12 oz bottle purchased from Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a clear gold color with a two finger white head. The aroma was caramel and bread. The flavor was caramel and a slight bitter finish. Not my favorite beer.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Golden orange with lasting flat head. Toasted caramel and yeast aroma. Toasted caramel mild meolon and English hop flavor and bitterness. Fairly clean finish. Medium light body and medium carbo. Not bad.

Pours a light gold with a frothy white head. Slightly sweet malt cardboard aroma. Malty sweet taste with hints of fruit and slight bitterness. I have had this many times and think the tap is far better than the bottle, but still just and ok beer.

Jan. 27, 2009; 12 oz. bottle. Took this for an ESB on first tasting and, with a more aggressive hop presence, it might shoehorn into that category. Light, somewhat sour hops are overtaken by nearly-sickly-sweet & slightly oily malts. Reminiscent of a Magic Hat no. 9 I tried quite some time ago.

first, thanks to Justin for this .. second, this scares the piss outta me .... medicinal honey metal smell .. golden color with strange slight broken filter haze .. light light foam ... has a good upfront bitterness, but muddled and dirty .. i appreciate the gift but this is a ghastly brew... terrible aftertaste...
