Golden-amber color with a large cream colored head. Fair amount of lacing. A good first IPA of the session. More balance than most and adequetely crisp. Aroma was a bit piney. Grapefruit hop taste. Maybe on the lower end of the IPA hops levels but a tasty beer regardless.

Pours a foggy gold with pretty sizable white head. Moderate yeasty malt aroma. Mild metallic flavor with little hop punch. Average mouth feel - on the dry side. Okay beer in the grand scheme of things, but pretty poor for an IPA.

Definitely not the same as most other IPA’s. The hops are not overwhelming at all. Not a bad beer overall, but just not a great IPA.

12 oz. bottle pours a cloudy amber color with lots of floaty things in it. Big fluffy white head which quickly dissipates leaving little to no lacing. Somewhat sweet fruity aroma with faint hops and yeast undertones. Medium bodied but easy to drink with front palate of an almost honeysuckle flavor without the sweetness, middle is hoppy and bready with a finish of grass. Aftertaste of strawberry bubblegum which is somewhat odd, but not entirely unpleasant. It could be paired nicely with a summer salad but wouldn’t stand up well to many foods one might pair with a hoppier IPA.

Copper color, relatively thick off white head and a decent amount of lace. Aroma was hoppy with malts in the background. It does have a hoppy taste, but not as strong as other IPA’s I’ve had or as I expected. Also malts detected in the flavor with a bitter finish and a sour aftertaste. I think this is your average IPA, making it a slightly above average beer for me

I respect their decision to create a Fuggle IPA. However, I do miss those tangerines and grapefruits found in most U.S. IPAs. I wasn’t impressed much with the aroma--while there were traces of fuggles, both sweet and woodsy--however, not as pronounced as other reviewers are describing. There were fruity notes from an interesting yeast strand. Nice balanced flavor with hop bitterness throughout mixed with a simple malt profile that fades in the background. Late finish of grassy and wood notes from the hops. Nice medium mouthfeel and a crisp, dry finish indeed. Overall--wouldn’t put it on the "must try" list, but again, I appreciate the bold choice and variety.

12oz bottle from BevMo. The worst IPA I’ve ever had. Aroma was very light, faint hops that was overwhelmed by maltiness. A very boring beer, shouldn’t even bee classified as an IPA.
