| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle: Fiery golden, translucent, large fluffy white head, sticky lacing, moderate carbonation.   Earthy/dirty hop oriented nose.   Not floral, nor piney... but moreso grainy and overcooked vegetables.   Gritty start, cereal oriented, not that hoppy at all, but instead it has a grainy bitterness.   Slight butter factor emerges at the finish.   Blech... I knew it was going to be crap when I bought it, but I had to have the new label.

The aroma is spicy, floral hops with light bread. The flavor is dry, fruity, herbal, spicy and some honey. Medium/light body with moderate carbonation. durkahdurkah (15), Charlestown, Massachusetts, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Mar 29, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Poured deep copper, with a hoppy, yet somehow off aroma. Taste was very one dimensional (they only use fuggles in this so makes sense), but that one dimension was quite unenjoyable. I thought it was possible that this was a bad bottle, but then I had 2 others out of the 6 pack and they all had the same flavor. Very surprising considering the fact that I enjoyed Shipyard’s Tremont IPA. Will not be getting this again. Saarlander (1579), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2007 Bottle best by May 07. Poured a copper color with a creamy off-white head that leaves some lacing. Sweet malts in the aroma mixed with floral and a hint of earthiness. The flavor reminded me of iced-t at first with molasses and fruits. Light body that is more sweet than bitter. Not enough hops for me. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2007 One of my favorite brews from Shipyard. Has a nice aroma and appearance but its flavor is best. It is long lasting and smooth going down. A definite top pick from Shipyard.
