There was no body and only modest hops. It was smooth but not one of the best I have had. IHCNavistar (93), Orinda, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2006 Bottle. Aroma is predominantly f hops, but there are significant bready malt undertones. Taste is strongly of hops, with significant notes of bread, biscuits, and yeast, but tending more strongly towards the hoppy side. Caronation is nice and strong, lasting pleasantly throught the whole bottle radagast83 (1314), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2006 This clear amber ale has a small wispy head. Low earthy hops. Caramel apple yeastiness. Light caramel malt. Light tingly hop bitterness is more crisp than bitter. GeneralGao (3062), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 3, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear light orange color with thick, foamy white head that laced the glass. Aroma and flavor are dominated by biscuity malt with a touch of caramel. The fuggles hops, which I tend to be unimpressed with, hide in the background. Tangy, crisp finish with a touch of hay. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Just another average IPA. Slight honey taste and grassy base, this one was malty and slightly hopped (for an IPA). The pour was a light golden color with only minor lacing and minimal head. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. The grassiness was a detraction for me. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 31, 2006 Pours golden brown with a small head that turns patchy. Aroma has hops that somehow come across as dirty and muddied & there is a bit of caramel. Medium to light bodied beer. Taste seems very off like it has soured spoiled grains. Very offputting hops on the finish. This sure as hell isn’t my favorite IPA. I finished it, but won’t have it again. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada
