| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Bottle. Copper color brew with small white head. Aroma is underhopped for an IPA, with just mild hints of humulus lupulus. Body is thin and tastes abit tinny, & again not hoppy enough. shp555 (1776), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Aug 4, 2005 Had on tap. Nice white head. Almost no hop aroma at all, which translanted to very little hop flavor. A very disappointing IPA. Not one I would recommend. SoLan (1427), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 1, 2005 Gold/copper. Bubbly, white head. Rather subtle hop aroma for an IPA. Not too strong in the flavor either, tastes closer to a bitter. Dry and crisp. Light/medium body. Nothing impressive. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 31, 2005 Bottle. Medium copper hue with not a lot of head. Subtle but nice citrusy hops on the nose. Medium body, good balance of malt sweetness and hops flavor and bitterness. Fairly crisp, though there’s enough alcohol and hops acidity to linger on the tongue a while. I like the idea of a single hops IPA, as the style tends toward multi-hopping. This one doesn’t beat you over the head, which is a nice change of pace. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2005 Poured an almost clear amber color with a medium white quickly disappearing head. Aroma of sweet malt, orange peel, and some lightly tart fruits. Malty flavor with some sweetness at the begining, acidic middle, and finishing with a dry bitter finish. gsmitty80 (653), Washington DC, USA

I think it was the fact that it is a single hop i like my IPAs to have a little kick to them and this did not get the job done. AndrewM (126), Waco (Buckle of the Bible Belt), Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 24, 2005 I think this one smells decent, tastes decent, but - from a bottle - is waaay overcarbonated. A soft pour results in a half glass of head. The overcarbonation detracts from the ’pleasant drinking experience’ I look for (urp, ’scuse me). But, overall, this one is decent. Not exceptional, not terrible, just about average for a mildly hoppy, mildly bitter, over carbonated IPA. maawallace (7), USA does not count | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 19, 2005 I got this beer because it proclaims the fact that it’s single hopped with fuggles, a hop I truly enjoy. However, there is not much to this beer. I can barely taste anything outside of a slight bitterness. I should have been wary of an IPA that boasts an aroma hop as its primary hop. Small head, highly carbonated, caramelly color. The fuggles don’t even come off very much in the smell. It finishes with an unwanted bitterness.
