Bottle. Poured a light orange color. A little white head, that went rather quickly. Aroma was weak hops, grass, and resin. Flavor was very weak for an IPA. Some hops coming through. Grass, pine and sweeter flavors came through on this beer. Thin to medium body. Kind of watered down. Not the best IPA, I’ve tried.

The aroma is slightly fruity with berry like notes with a slightly hoppy smell. Mouth feel is too light and slick feeling with a very buttery flavor which over powers most of the hop character. Finish is short lived and continues the buttery flavor.

Pours a clear amber with a a dense white head that dissipates fairly slowly. Aroma is a bit disappointing; some pale malt, a bit of floral hop, apple, and a touch of nectar fruit. Far too little bitter hop character for my liking. Flavor has a bit more bitterness, but still mostly flowers, a touch of honey, and some English tasting malt. Really not my style for IPAs, but I suppose it’s not bad.

Pours clear amber with a half finger white head that resembles soap suds- large bubble cells that dissipate rather expediently. An aroma of grainy astringent caramel malt hit my nostrils before going in for the first whiff. Further aromas present in a somewhat malt heavy fashion for the style: Caramel, toast, hazelnut, almond, straw, grass, diacetyl butterscotch, and mild citrus aromas. The grainy astringency isn’t quite as prevalent when a full sniff in taken- perhaps its slightly more masked by the sugars. The flavor starts quite sweet, with notes of bread, caramel, toffee, and a slight note of diacetyl. A few moments later the alpha acids kick in, though not to an IPA worthy degree. Hop bitterness accompanied with lots of grainy astringency make for a face wrinkling, questioning expression. After swallowing and letting the brew sit on the tongue for a short while, the sweetness comes back, accompanied by a light spicy note. Palate is medium bodied for the style with somewhat low carbonation levels, contributing to a slick heavy mouthfeel and mildly caressing effervescence. A bit rough around the edges, but she’ll do…

Pours a hazy orange with aq moderate head. Snow white head that recedes quickly. Looks like most IPAs. Weak aroma. Pick up hints of hops. Fruity flavor. Kind of grape-apple-ish. Very harsh finish. Goes down very harsh. Horrible finish. Light mouth feel. Harsh carbonation. Very near a drain pour. Horrible. OK, came back to add that I ended up drain pouring. Worst beer I’ve had in a long time.

Pours a clear copper/gold from the 12oz. bottle: Yeast, resin, earth, black pepper, citrus bitterness, pale malts, pine, and clove- all of which on the funky side. Overall: Unfortunately unbalanced for an IPA. It’s watery and boring. Blame it on the Fuggles? Rebuy: I’m unimpressed. #142 on 16102009, DG.

A golden brown beer with a good size head. The aroma is malty, & spritzy. The taste is an uninspiring IPA that is more akin to a British IPA.

Has a deep gold pour with orange and amber at the edges, gave a pretty dense off-white large head that took a while to recede, lots of carbonation, left a good amount of lacing on the glass, aromas of grassy hops, dusty, citrus floral, caramel and malt sweetness, flavors of orange and lemon citrus and pale malts, medium mouth feel that leaves the palate pretty dry with spme citrus bitterness, I found this beer to be enjoyable to drink.
