Pours gold with a white head. Smells and tastes of toasted malt and earthy. A decent sessionable beer.

12oz bottle (Bodega Blue Artisan Cheese). This pours a medium golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, malts, and grains. Taste of grains and a little malts with some slight hops. This light bodied brew is not bad for a light.

Introduced to me at Federal Jack’s as Goat Island Light. Very light. A summer time drinking beer for all day sessions. I would rather be bombed by 1:15p.m. and drink stout than a case of this.

Had this beer at Federal Jack’s on draft. I can only say it was a good as the Beast, which is a compliment if you are drinking light beers.

From a 12 fl. oz (US) bottle. This really pours like a typical light with a golden yellow tone and a fizzy carbonated white head. My gut reaction was that it looked like any B-M-C I have ever had. Aroma is rather grassy with subtle malts. Flavor is also grassy and watery. This is not terribly better than any of the macro lights on the market today. In one sense it was a disappointment. Oh well, at least proceeds from my purchase go toward preserving lighthouses.

Golden colored topped with a thin white head that evaporates quickly. The aroma isn’t much different than that of a typical light beer. Relatively smooth, malty taste but there isn’t much there. Better than your average light beer.

Bottle. Bottle is opened and the beer erupts out and gets everywhere. Great start. Crystal clear light yellow pour, with a fizzy head that disappears quickly. Aroma is skunky corn and wheat. There is literally no flavor I can detect. Flat and undrinkable. This sucks a lot.

Bottle--Very carbonated, the pour ended in a large, fizzy head that disappeared within seconds. The aroma was grassy with an undertone of corn. The taste was rather sharp and fit in with the rest of mass produced light beers. I do agree with the other reviewers about the lemon aftertaste, it does help, a little.
