It’s the stories that go along with drinking it and not so much the taste or appeal.

Pours a medium yellow, straw colored mostly clear and bubbly, decent foamy white head. Smells of mild malt and a bit of spicy hops. Opens up very clean and medium sweet, good clean barley malt, very distinguishable flavors. Moderately soft palate, slightly peppery at times. Balance is great, low alcohol does not seem to be a problem for flavor. Finishes with a nice mild fruity hops, definitely some peach and pear in there.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Light sweet aroma of peaches and pears with some additional malt. Light-bodied; Sour initial taste of fruit followed by some maltiness. Aftertaste finisehd without any offensive flavours, just a mild showing of malt and sweetness. Overall, fairly good for the style...good taste and flavour! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 01-November-2003.

Not my favorite Shipyard beer. This is a Light ale. doesn’t seem to taste much more than a stronger budweiser, but it is still vastly better than Bud.

Crap that is a light ale- 3.25%? This is like near beer. Very watery, but not bad. Some nice slight malty flavor. Mostly just a good summer drinking beer. A decent beer compared to other american lights.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells and tastes of toasted malt and earthy. A decent sessionable beer.

Decent golden color and crisp, refreshing flavor. Overall, tastes like a slightly above average light - drinkable but nothing exceptional.
