| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2008 Easy to enjoy, quick to drink and a good time to start drinking pumpkin beers. The aroma is quite alluring, with an easy to smell nutmeg/cinnamon combo that’s not hard to detect at all. Flavors had some subtle maltiness, light nutmeg but mostly non-descript. Color was a light yellowy-orange color with a small 1 finger thick head that went away rather quickly. Mouthfeel was thin and prickly. The best part of this beer was the aroma. I could smell this one for a long time. Oh, the bottle I had was not Shipyard’s Pumpkinhead Ale, but Kennebunkport’s Pumpkin Ale. topherh (936), Kearney, Missouri, USA

Flavor is spices, pumpkin, and light maltiness. Very thin mouthfeel. LilBeerDoctor (1518), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Bottle, best by 01/2009. Pours a light orange with lots of carbonation and a thick, foamy white head that persists. Aroma of luscious pumpkin pie and the usually spices (lots of nutmeg and a huge cinnamon presence). MMM, this smells good! Flavor of a lot of pumpkin with an initial spritzy carbonation bite, some sweet malt in the finish. One of the better pumpkin ales, as it really tastes like pumpkin!! Nice malt backbone too so that it’s not watery. Very drinkable and tasty, I’m really surprised by such low ratings of this! urnamesucks (92), New York City, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2008 My first pumpkin flavored beer. Thin, small head. Aroma was average, as was the taste. Not too powerful of a seasonal blend. A few too many bubbles. LinusStick (1847), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2008 My first pumpkin beer of 2008. Aroma was average. There is pumpkin and sweet malt but not very strong. Pour was a disappointing dirty gold with no bubbles and no head. Taste was sweet and heavily carbonated. The pumpkin comes in and out but very faintly. Leaves a sticky sweet film on the throat and in the mouth but very little pumpkin or spice. klavoie22 (16), Newmarket, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Packed with well but not perfectly balanced flavor, light wheat brew is easy to drink , great for the season I can’t wait for a fresh one soon. arventresca (342), Greenville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Bottle. Outdated in January. Pours orange. Smell of pumpkin and spices. Taste the same. Pretty good considering how it was outdated. Could only finish one however since these are spicey beers. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
