Nose of pumpkins (of course), but also cinnamon. Fizzy mouthfeel and somewhat thin. Flavors include the pumpkin and cinnamon, but also spices like cardamom. No bitterness in flavor. Would make a decent Christmas beer. cking (1023), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 13, 2007 This is a nasty terrible beer. Yellow pour with a moderate head and thin lacing, looks alright but it sure is an odd color for a beer brewed with pumpkin. Fizzy medicine-like aroma, sort of spicy with no presence of pumpkin at all. Empty mouth feel, rough finish. Flavor is just wrong and especially wrong for the style. The pumpkin flavoring tastes fake and is overly sugary. Odd blend of "spices" and all around weird flavor. I have no idea what the brewer is trying to accomplish here. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 13, 2007 12 oz bottle. Barely qualifies as a pumpkin ale; taste is almost nonexistent. Much closer to a standard pale ale than a true pumpkin like Weyerbacher or Southampton.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 1/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Had this on tap at the Smokehouse with my buddy Tommy and good friend Allison while watching the Buckeyes spank the Badgers. Nose of wheat, pumpkin, and vanilla. The brew is a sparkling honey amber. The frothy white mostly diminishing head leaves no lace. The brew is again very wheatish with no shortage of pumpkin presence, a light acidity and a brief crisp finish. The light body is creamy and lively. I’m surprised this brew rates so low!
