| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2007 12oz bottle labeled as Kennepunckport Pumpkin ale a gift from my pal Katrina at school. Pours orange and highly carbonated with a thin bright white ring head. the nose has a touch of pumpkin spice but not much. Taste is decent, less pumpkin more cinnamon. Overall its drinkable with a bit of something extra. Not great not awful. blankboy (3207), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear, bubbly copper-gold with an average size fluffy white head. Aroma’s quite sweet, like sugar candy, along with a bit of pumpkin and weak spices -- not spicy or pumpkiny enough for a Pumpkin beer. Flavour’s a little better: More pumpkin and more spices along with what reminds me, weirdly enough, of rootbeer. A little watery and could use more flavour. Average bodied. Not bad, an average Pumpkin beer.
Note: halfway through the beer, as it warmed slightly, i got more notes of cinnamon and pumpkin in the aroma, bumping it up a point. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Tap. Pale golden with a very spicy aroma of allspice and nutmeg over a thin pale malt base. Semi-sweet with lots of spicing. Medium bodied and a bit too sweet for my tastes. Lingering clovey spice. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Oct 17, 2007 I must have gotten a bad bottle. This thing had all kinds of things floating in it and there was no spicy pumpkin aroma to it. The flavor was sour and disgusting. This one made it down the drain. I was hoping for much more and really hope that was just a bad bottle. Seems like i am stumbling upon alot of bad bottles these days. THis was less than enjoyable. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2007 12oz. bottle - pours light gold with a small white head. Aroma of spice, pumpkin pie, sweet, sharp malt, cinnamon. Again, sweet. Flavour is quite sweet, quite a candy-like pumpkin pie flavour. Too sweet I think, but pleasantly drinkable. Nutmeg, cinnamon and other spices comes forward in the middle to finish. I’d prefer something "warmer". Fairly thin in the mouth, a bit too watery. My first pumpkin ale, so hard to compare. I mean...impossible to compare. BREWMUSKCLES (1075), New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2007 they did an honorable job with the pumpkin in this one. pretty good spices infused with a genuine _touch too much candy_ pumpkin flavor. shipyard you can tinker with this one and come up with one of the best pumpkins... get going, i wish you well! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2007 12oz bottle....Finally found this one, took a little while....body is light orange with a small, lasting off white head....nose of pumpkin pie filling, coriander, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove....tastes pretty good, don’t get that sense of artificial pumpkin that I do from a lot of the other lesser beers of this style....medium bodied, creamy palate....ending is spicy, full of nutmeg and pumpkin, fading into a bit of a watery end, which hurts some....overall not bad at all, and a bit underrated I think
