| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Had this on draught at the Emerald Coast Brew Fest in Pensacola, FL. Aroma was nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin pie. Taste was very much like pumpkin pie. Beer was very smooth and had a nice mouthfeel. Couldn’t sit back and pound these all night, but drinkability was good. This seems to be a very polarizing beer----people either love it or hate it. I liked it. emobassfoo (178), Webster, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2007 Rated while drinking: Pours a clear gold color with an almost pure white head. Smells strongly of spices. Nutmeg definitely stands out. Taste isn’t as strong as I expected it to be, but full of pumpkin pie flavor. Not as groundbreaking as the other pumpkin beers that have come out this season, but it’s different. Fresh and crisp on the palate, along with some carbonation. This beer is quite watery, allowing it to be drunk in quantity. Considering price and style, I’d definitely try Smuttynose or Post Road (Brookyln) instead of this though. yankeefan21 (82), USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2007 Everyone at the beer store was just RAVING about this beer. Meh. Don’t believe the hype. I picked up the Smuttynose and Blue Moon Pumpkins at the same time and prefered both to this. It tastes like a mass produced pale ale that someone accidentally spiked with nutmeg. Not a lot of pumpkin taste at all leaving me wanting. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 4, 2007 12 oz bottle purchased at Spirits in Red Bank. I was searching for a good pumpkin brew this autumn season and this wasn’t it. Poured a sightly orange/yellow with a fizzy quickly disappearing head and some visibly large bubbly carbonation. Aroma is artificial cinnamon, nutmed and all spice with a weird pastic/vinyl aroma. Flavor was artificial cinnamon and nutmeg with hardly any beer flavor. I strongly advise staying away from this just like staying away from the hookers in Atlantic City. hopson (595), Williamsville, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 4, 2007 one of the lowest rated widely available pumpkin beers, but I also believe it is one of the best. Super sweet, and nutmegy, with a spicyness that is not over the top like many others on the market. Many taste this and say "pumpkin pie". That is what I want out of my pumpkin beer so this one suits me just fine. MrBendo (1044), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Updated: Sep 29, 2007Bottle. Clear amber with a small head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spices and sweet caramel malt. The taste is way too much pie-spice in my opinion. And very sweet. Palate-deadening cinnamon and nutmeg. This is likely the worst pumpkin beer that I’ve had. And I have had about 10 or 15. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2007 POurs amber with notes of pumpkin and clove. These notes show nicely with the maltlike palate into a well balanced beer with the pumking pushing through the end.
