| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2007 A golden color with a moderate white head. The aroma contains pumpkin, ginger, and cinammon. This one doesnt seem to contain much in the malt department so you get smacked in the face with the pumpkin flavor. This is like a blonde ale with a crap load of pumpkin and spices thrown in. The mouthfeel is a little buttery though. Overall not bad for a pumpkin beer but not complex in the least. tangentrider (144), USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 6, 2007 Golden beer with a small, disappearing white head. Aroma is musky--a bit like socks. Flavor is very thin, with too much bite. The finish is slightly sweet, but almost non-existent. sneagrams3 (1761), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 26, 2007 The Dan Journal #51. Tasted 10/22/06. Final selection from the autumn tasting. 12oz bottle. Bright and golden. Spicy citrus aromas. Honey melon. Medium bodied with an apple cider palate. Similar flavors. Cloying finish. Not my favorite pumpkin. Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 19, 2007 Woof. Hate this beer. Brownish amber with an off white head. Tastes like a mash of sweet potato, pumpkin pie, gingerbread, and cinnamon. All that’s missing is the turkey, the cranberry and the green bean casserole and you would have Thanksgiving in a bottle! Far too sweet and in-your-face with the pumpkin. fiulijn (7460), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2007 Golden color, poor head. To me this is simply a very ordinary Golden Ale, without character, with a light cinnamon aroma and flavor, as it is often associated to pumkin recipes. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Aroma of real ginger-beer, sweet and slightly spicy. Pours a nearly headless transparent pale yellow. Tastes like some sort of ginger-ale concoction with lots of vanilla and a touch of pulpy pumpkin, but very little. Thin body, low carb, more pop than beer. juiceisloose (677), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2007 Updated: Sep 19, 2007Poured an golden yellow almost orange color with a thin white head. Pumpkin and spice flavors come through in the aroma, and follows just the same in the flavor. Not an overwhelming pumpkin flavor which is good. It is a light bodied ale that finishes smooth with the spice on your tongue. This years version is not as good as it used to be. It is really watered down and overcarbonated with very little spice or pumpkin for that matter. Really disappointed in it. porterhouse (1163), Alna, Maine, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2007 (Bottle (best before 2/07)) Lousy...Pours slightly hazy light amber-gold with three fingers of off-white head. Aroma is sort of vanilla and light pumpkin pie spice, including nutmeg. Mouthfeel is trademark Shipyard: thin, watery, quite prickly. Flavor is some weak, stale watery caramel and some artificial-tasting pumpkin pie spice. Their "flavored" beers have a real artificial quality and are really bad.
