May 16, 2007 A very nice pumpkin ale, very big fan of clove, and this brew has plenty, some nutmeg aroma, finishes very clean, dry, not overly sweet, I enjoyed it.

Apr 20, 2007 This has the best flavor of any pumpkin ale I have tried. Would be amazing if it had the body of Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Ale. The high not however, is the flavor. Really strong flavor or pumpkin and spices. I can close my eyes and imagine it’s a real pumpkin pie. If you ever see this, give it a shot.

Apr 15, 2007 Cloudy golden color with a small, disappearing white head, no lacing. Aroma of pumpkin pie was quite powerful and I"m glad the taste was slightly more subtle.
My first try with the Shipyard and I’m pleased. This would be a fine Thanksgiving appertif.

Apr 12, 2007 Aroma: Spicy, cinnamon, cloves and Munich Malt
Appearance: Orange copper-gold thin head
Flavour: Sweet and Spicy, Tastes like soda water with pumpkin pie spices. Finishes dry with overwhelming spiced flavours
Mouthfeel: Thin, fizzy, light bodied
Overall: Fairly one dimensional but better than most pumpkin beers I’ve had. Dry finish keeps it from being cloying. Drinkable but not remarkable

Mar 13, 2007 Bottle. Deep, cloudy amber colour, tiny off-white head. Have no idea why I bought this, does not like pumpkins at all. My excpactations were met, the taste was stale and skunky.

Feb 14, 2007 The ale pours a cloudy dark amber, settling a light amber color with an off-white, medium sized head. No lacing, fully diminishing head. Clear, thin body. Weak aroma, with medicinal smells, most notably solvent and bandaid. Hint of pumpkin. Initial taste is moderately bitter, shifting to a light sweet finish with short duration. Light to medium on the mouth, it leaves us oily with a thin coating and soft carbonation. This one smells much less like pumpkin than the Smutty Pumpkin Ale. Lisa can taste the spices, and this was her personal favorite.

Feb 13, 2007 Bottled sampled with stegosaurus. Pours a blonde/copper with a thin head. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon and apples. Taste is nice but not well balanced,very thin & watery
