Feb 12, 2007 Pours with a whispy white head and an... uh, pumpkin color. Smells of nutmeg and vegetables, like celery. Flavor was fun, malty and sweet but spicy. Finish is nutmeg and cinnamon like pie. I couldn’t drink 10, but one was enjoyable.

Feb 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours a golden/faint orange color with a small white head. Aroma of nutmeg and some bits of pumpkin. Flavor is crisp, with a nice finish and decent on the spice.

Feb 1, 2007 Bottled. An orange coloured beer looking very still in the glass. The aroma has lots of spices, predominantly cinnamon, star anise and clove, together with vegetable matter. The taste is like spicy carrots. More cinnamon and mace. Nicely balanced actually and the spices are not overpowering in any way. With no previous experience of US pumpkin beers I cannot comment how this compares, but I know I liked it.

Jan 31, 2007 Orangish amber with no head. Sweet aromas of baking spices. Light bodied with some mild fruity malts. More flavors of cloves and nutmeg, but not much pumpkin. Sweet, yeasty aftertaste. Not bad, makes Thanksgiving with relatives almost bearable.

Jan 16, 2007 A great beer in my opinion. This beer is a seasonal beer available in September/October. The beer has a great aroma and although it is a lighter beer, it’s nice to have a great taste in a lighter colored beer. I’m definitely a fan. Check out Shipyard’s Blue Paw if you get a chance too.
