| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 15, 2006 From the bottle, pours a clear golden color with little to no head, rising bubbles, and no lacing to speak of. Aroma is definitely spiced, very similar to fresh baked pumpkin pie. Tastes like pumpkin pie as well, even with a little redi-whip whipped cream on top. Very thin and very smooth, it’s really like drinking pumpkin pie. Wish there was another way to describe it, but I’ll just be redundant and repetitive. Not bad. 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Bottle. The beer pours to a fully carbonated dark yellow/golden body with a rapidly disapating white head. The aroma is strange. Pumpkin, yes, but some odd grains too. The flavor is also pumpkin, but again the odd grains. Over-attenuated palate. Very carbonated. Not a fan. There are many better pumpkin brews. TheBeerGod (3157), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 15, 2006 GABF 2006. Another weird circumstance with this beer. We can get lots of Shipyard stuff but for some reason not this. Went to GABF looking for this along with other pumpkin beers. Gold colored. Nose is pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon cloves and light gingerbread. Taste is light pumpkin pie, spices, gingerbread, and sweet maltiness. Body is light-medium with moderate carbonation. Finishes with more pumpkin pie flavors, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cinnamon but seems a bit thinner. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Bottled. Golden coloured with no head. Sweet and malty with notes of coriander, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. Kinda christmasy. Palate a bit too thin. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Bottle... Clear, yellow ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Good retention. Lots of nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and sweet, orange blossom honey in the nose. The flavor mirrors the aroma, but has great balance; no sweetness. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Mid-length, crisp, lightly bitter finish. I guess I’ll go against the grain here... enjoyable and refreshing. undsioux7 (559), Cologne, Minnesota, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Oct 13, 2006 This just sucks ass. The only redeeming quality is that is actually has a decent pumpkin aroma and taste, but the metallic piss sucks donkey balls. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 13, 2006 Bottle. Amber with a small off-white head. More the spices of a pumpkin pie than the actual pumpkin. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg. Light body, thin. Flavor was slightly sweet with, again, more spice than pumpkin. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 12, 2006 Brownish gold color with fizz head that dies out real quick. Aroma is metallic and spicey. The flavor is malt, spice and pumpkin. Aftertaste of a pumpkin pie but of course has an artifical flavoring. Not impressed.
