| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a big dimpled mug. The bottle date reads "Best Enjoyed Before Feb. 2010" and it was sampled on 9-12-2009.
Appearance: Its body has a clear, golden amber color with a thin off white head. The body is full of visible carbonation and still the head quickly fizzles down to just a very thin wispy layer. Lacing is minimal and very slick.
Smell: The aroma is very pleasing but light. There are notes of cinnamon toast, light grain and apple cinnamon cereal.
Taste/Palate: Like the aroma the flavor is light bodied and a little thin. Also there is no real pumpkin flavor. It does have a nice apple cinnamon crumb cake/carrot cake like taste. The finish is quick and fairly clean with maybe just a little bit of sweet spice hanging on. It has lots of active carbonation and with its thin texture it makes for a fizzy feel on the tongue.
Notes: If this was just a spiced ale with a little more body I would love it. However as a Pumpkin Ale it is rather boring.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Bottle from Shipyard variety 12-pack. Pours a nice looking orange color with an off-white head. Lots of pumkin, nutmeg and cinnamon in the aroma. The flavor is more subdued than the aroma, but still very nice. Quite easy to drink and not too filling. Fevernova (59), Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2009 12 oz Bottle -- Pours light orange with an off-white head. Heavy aromas of cinnamon and pumpkin. The spice if very mellow and pleasant. The sweetness and light body make for a refreshing alternative to other heavier pumpkin beers. troopie (892), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2009 Bottle. Poured pale pumpkin orange with thin fast dissipating white head. Much pumpkin in the aroma, with some spice. Pumpkiny flavour with a hop edge. Rather thin finish allendodd (58), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Thanks to skyview for sharing. Smells OK. Who doesn’t like the smell of pumpkin pie or pastry? Pours a thin, pale beer with a light quickly dissipating head. Initial cider notes give way to the thin spice and pumpkin flavors. There isn’t much here and I wouldn’t go back for more than the tasting size sample I had. italianjohn (380), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 25, 2009 On tap at the Warren Tavern, Georgetown (Boston) MA, October 2009. Bags of cinnamon. Some odd raisiny fruit. Just the sort of Pumpkin beer I struggle with. Underpowered and over-spiced. Not enough other stuff going on to counteract the spicing. Thin mouthfeel. Not my thing at all. But then I’m not really a big fan of pumpkin beers at the best of times.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Very light amber color. More yellow than orange. Tiny head that dissipates very quickly. No lacing.
Smells of nutmeg and maybe some cloves. Slight malts, buried down deep.
Good pumpkin flavor, even if it seems artificial. Cinnamon and hints of nutmeg and cloves. Decent malt notes.
Much better than the nose led me to expect.
A little bit creamy, but in the end, this is too thin and weak for my tastes.
Drinkability: no thanks. Lubiere (4548), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A light golden ale with a thin white head. In mouth, a rather cardboardy aroma of spent spices, nutmeg, incense, rathe bizarrre. In mouth, spices and nutmeg, cloves, spot on for the style, but overall, watery and bland. On tap at Lucky’s, Logan Airport, Nov. 11 2009.
