Golden pour, light haze, moderate white head, only temporary lace. Aroma initially displays pumpkin pie spices, especially nutmeg, accompanied by a damp earthiness, but quickly fades. On the flavor, the spice and earth are at first overwhelmed by wet cardboard and stale malts. After this fades, the major flavors for the rest of the glass were butter and creamed corn. Medium body, moderately lively on the palate.

12 oz Bottle -- Pours light orange with an off-white head. Heavy aromas of cinnamon and pumpkin. The spice if very mellow and pleasant. The sweetness and light body make for a refreshing alternative to other heavier pumpkin beers.

Bottle. Poured pale pumpkin orange with thin fast dissipating white head. Much pumpkin in the aroma, with some spice. Pumpkiny flavour with a hop edge. Rather thin finish

Thanks to skyview for sharing. Smells OK. Who doesn’t like the smell of pumpkin pie or pastry? Pours a thin, pale beer with a light quickly dissipating head. Initial cider notes give way to the thin spice and pumpkin flavors. There isn’t much here and I wouldn’t go back for more than the tasting size sample I had.

Clear golden pour light head aroma of cinnamon gingerbread .... taste of gingerbreadm, cinnamon and a light spicy finish .... nice beer if you like a gingerbread taste but for a pumpkin the color and flavor aren’t typical

On tap at the Warren Tavern, Georgetown (Boston) MA, October 2009. Bags of cinnamon. Some odd raisiny fruit. Just the sort of Pumpkin beer I struggle with. Underpowered and over-spiced. Not enough other stuff going on to counteract the spicing. Thin mouthfeel. Not my thing at all. But then I’m not really a big fan of pumpkin beers at the best of times.

Very light amber color. More yellow than orange. Tiny head that dissipates very quickly. No lacing. Smells of nutmeg and maybe some cloves. Slight malts, buried down deep. Good pumpkin flavor, even if it seems artificial. Cinnamon and hints of nutmeg and cloves. Decent malt notes. Much better than the nose led me to expect. A little bit creamy, but in the end, this is too thin and weak for my tastes. Drinkability: no thanks.

A light golden ale with a thin white head. In mouth, a rather cardboardy aroma of spent spices, nutmeg, incense, rathe bizarrre. In mouth, spices and nutmeg, cloves, spot on for the style, but overall, watery and bland. On tap at Lucky’s, Logan Airport, Nov. 11 2009.

Bottle 12 oz. - Poured light golden color with small white head and quickly faded. Aroma - Pumpkin spice, cinnamon and vanilla scent. Flavor - Definite pumpkin pie filling taste and also has mild RED HOT candy taste! Palate - Fairly thin bodied and has average carbonation. Has tongue tingling spice and aftertaste is decent. Overall - One of the better Pumpkin Ales I’ve tried but still a boring beer. The AB and Miller drinkers probably would like this!!
