| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2009 sweet, sugary aroma with some liquor notes; creamy, sugary, but papery malts do little for what could be a lot fruitier - a lot sweeter grapefruit smack, but the dry aftertaste keeps me from not tasting anymore; overall, the alcohol is hidden well and it’s drinkable, good stuff, but not where it should be to me especially considering this is my favorite style of brew.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Pours a golden copper color with a good head and adequate carbonation. Aroma is of hops, floral, citrus, pine, and more hops. The first taste hits you pretty strongly - very hoppy and slight malts (the way I like it) - and at first I didn’t think I’d like it, but this one really grows on you. The 9.2% warms you up quickly and the wonderful hop flavors persist through the finish, but don’t leave you with a bitter taste. Very enjoyable, though in the end, it tastes hoppier than the IBUs would indicate - almost up there with a Ruination (100+) but it’s really only at 70. jcwattsrugger (5528), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Bottle. A deep amber color with a foamy white head. A strong crisp pine, grass and citrus aroma that is almost biting when the beer is cold. A spicy pine hop flavor with a touch of sweetness on an otherwise dry bitter palate. It is kind of rough, but I appreciate its aggressiveness. wavers1 (170), novato, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Big white fluffy haed that quickly dissapears to a thin lace. Opaque orange color. Aroma with lots of caramell and fruits with nice hops. Taste is alcoholic in the beginning than you start to notice the caramell and a plesent bitterness with a small hop taste. A litle to strong to be perfect but still a real good IPA.
