Sho Chiku Bai (Pine Bamboo Plum) Classic Light Sake

Served slightly chilled in a snifer (sorry, no guinomi)
The fragrance is light, calm, fruity & floral, very fresh. Impact is medium, not too explosive but still present. Sweet flavor, subtle, but still more sweet than dry. Alcohol is fairly well hidden but detectable. Medium/strong acidity. Presence is slightly watery, not too unassuming though. Complexity: none, straight forward. Slight delicate earthiness. Tail stays around for a while to talk, but doesn't bore you or discust you. This is an easy drinking sake with pretty well rounded charactaristics. It took me a whole 750 of this stuff to get all those notes down, but I did it. I think I'm getting better at rating sakes now.
