Commercial Description:
NIGORI is coarsely-filtered and the sweetest of all our types of sake. It is especially delicious with very spicy foods. The bottle should be shaken each time before pouring due to the high rice content that settles in the bottom of the bottle. Nigori Creme de Sake tastes slightly drier than our Nigori Silky Mild.

Bottle: Pours a thick opaque white color with very small suspended particles. The nose is a blend of fresh melon and coconut along with some hints towards koji and drier rice notes. The flavor is....nice. I was expecting something closer to the regular nigori from SCB but this one is fairly balanced. Lightly tart in the tail, sweet impact with a light bitter koji and yeast note flavor. The finish rounds off a little sweet to bring everything together. Dry finish. WAY better than the regular nigori. This is subtle and relaxed in comparison. Nice!

LCBO vintages tasting- Pours milky white and cloudy, with lots of rice particles floating around. Crazy lactic milky aromas, cooked rice, grassy, funky. FLavours are sour fruityness, funky milky lacticity. Sharp boozey milky finish. I like this style, and will seek out more.
