Crafty07 (331), Lexington, Kentucky, USA Mar 18, 2008 Foul aroma and watery color with fizzy diminishing white head but the taste of the attempt at a witbier is not as bad as the haters would describe it.
light, sweet, and refreshing. I’ve had more expensive and pretentious brewers come up with worse Wits. Not horrible.
merlin48 (325), Henderson, Kentucky, USA Jul 17, 2008 This twelve ounce bottle reveals an AB "born on" date of thirty days ago, so at least it’s fresh. Pours a hazy lemonade pale yellow with a small vanilla head that deposits some lacing on the glass. Subdued aroma has some coriander and white pepper and faint lemon suggestions. Light body has appropriate zesty carbonation. Taste has faint citrusy orange and lemon notes, some wheat malt twang, ad subdued coriander and pepper. A refreshing summer beer, for sure. Respectable effort from one of the macros. GangGreen712 (35), Woodstock Valley, Connecticut, USA Jul 17, 2008 Smells and tastes of oranges. Very smooth, and pretty enjoyable. The main complaints I have about this beer are its stupid name and logo. Though I think I prefer Blue Moon, this is actually quite good, especially considering where it came from. mnurda (342), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jul 16, 2008 On Tap in the St. Louis airport. Not bad for a mass produced beer. I quite enjoyed it with my ice cold hamburger. Ale_Drinker (1049), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jul 16, 2008 This actually isn’t bad for a budweiser beer. Citrusy aroma, mostly oranges. Light and refreshing. It’s really not all that bad, would probably score higher if it didn’t say A-B next to the name. spkldhenlvr24 (366), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 15, 2008 I was in the mood for a nice witbier the other day and unfortunatly the place where I was buying only had this shit to offer. I should’ve just walked away knowing its AB and just looking at the stupid name and label. Anyways it was wasn’t good at all and I will never drink it again. Thanks!
