This poured a thick black oily mess and i loved it,small tan head and smelled of chocolate and bourbon with a nice creamy small lacing for the head, as it warmed up the flavors and alcohol became more apparent, over all this was well done.CHEERS!

Bottle, thanks to BBB63. Pours dark brown with almost no head. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, and roasted malt. Flavor is bourbon, vanilla, alcohol, and chocolate, with lesser amounts of roasted malt and coffee. Medium body, with a slightly bitter finish.

2007. The star beer of the night in a tasting session that included many top notch beers. Easy on the wood, light on the bourbon, lots of dark roast, coffee, chocolate and dark caramels, light molasses. Heavy feel with no fine, palate-damaging particulate mess.

750mL bottle--thanks wavers! Deep mahogany with a few tan bubbles. Lots of spicy dry bourbon in the nose with dark chocolate, light to moderate roast. Overbourbonated, but tasty--otherwise much the same as the aroma with a tinge of soy. Bitterness @ a 3. Just hints of carbonation with a smooth full body. Good, but preferred 50/50 Eclipse. tasty!

Bottle 2007 Shared by Kan, thanks man! Pours a black body with a tan coffee head. Chewy chocolate with a light wooden and bourbon warming. Some lighter oak and vanilla amongst a moderate coffee base. Nice.

750 ml bottle shared by Pantanap. Thanks Kan! Pours a very deep oily black with a thinning head. Aroma is oily, with lots of licorice, toffee, burnt molasses, some harsh roast, mode to light chocolate, medium oak toast, slight vanilla, and tons of alcohol- bourbon but mostly on the single malt whiskey side- very sharp. Flavor is licorice, bourbon, and alcohol burn, medium body, charred oak, burnt notes, earth, and ropiness with a light roasted burnt malt finish. Body is a bit weak due to a high alcohol presence and lower residual sugars. A bit messy and not rounded out.

750ml bottle from shawnm213, another big thanks Shawn. Rating #20. Popped the cap with absolutely no sound. Poured pitch black with no head whatsoever Rich dark fruitiness and a little woody as well, some alcohol, very nice aroma. Flavor was a little roasty, slightly dry, a little of that soy sauceness and some alcohol heat in the finish, very enjoyable. 񡹸)
