thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 21, 2009 This draft brew from the Mad Anthony Oktobeer Fest poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strange un-wit like flavor contained notes of malt and hops. Not one that I would likely buy again. shawnm213 (882), South Bend, Indiana, USA Jul 19, 2009 pours a pale yellow with a small white head. sweet malts, spices, with a somewhat gross budweiser taste to it. some corn. underwealming. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 @Indiana Beerfest-on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet, tropical fruit esters, light malt. Taste is sweet, tropical fruit esters/spicy/lemon (saaz?)-hops, light malt. Mild carbonation.
RAYBOY01 (1812), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 5, 2008 Pale reddish gold pour releasing a grassy wheat nose with some spicing. Flavors were mildly citrusy and wheaty, but body was so very thin...! xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Sep 17, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Light amber with tiny white head. Light spice and fruity aroma with light sweetness but overall very light. Flavor is banana, clove and pine bitterness. Medium bodied and creamy. A little too biting for style, that pine should not be there. jackson220 (136), new lenox, Illinois, USA Aug 26, 2007 Draft at brewery. Clear amber color with nice white head with fair lacing. Moderate banana ,citrus orange aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. sweet citrus flavor with a sweet finish. refreshing beer on a warm summer day.
Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 16, 2007 Pretty odd look for a wit. The body is clear gold in color and the smallish head fades rather rapidly. It has an aroma of wheat, coriander, and a trace of oranges. Pretty much the same for the flavor, although the cirtus tastes play a more prominent role. It’s not bad and refreshing for the warm weather, but it doesn’t seem to fit the proclaimed style.

muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA Jul 6, 2007 Draught sample at the brewpub, June 19 2007. Pale, fairly clear yellow-gold with no real head; no head and precious little haze, not good in this style....faint spicy aroma, a fair amount of wheat malt, ginger and coriander, nothing bad here but just not strong enough....the body by contrast is quite sweet, very light on the spices, quite yeasty in the middle....dries out quite a bit at the finish; strong carbonation....thoroughly unexceptional.
