This draft brew from the Mad Anthony Oktobeer Fest poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strange un-wit like flavor contained notes of malt and hops. Not one that I would likely buy again.

Pale reddish gold pour releasing a grassy wheat nose with some spicing. Flavors were mildly citrusy and wheaty, but body was so very thin...!

On tap at the brewery. Light amber with tiny white head. Light spice and fruity aroma with light sweetness but overall very light. Flavor is banana, clove and pine bitterness. Medium bodied and creamy. A little too biting for style, that pine should not be there.

Pretty odd look for a wit. The body is clear gold in color and the smallish head fades rather rapidly. It has an aroma of wheat, coriander, and a trace of oranges. Pretty much the same for the flavor, although the cirtus tastes play a more prominent role. It’s not bad and refreshing for the warm weather, but it doesn’t seem to fit the proclaimed style.

Draught sample at the brewpub, June 19 2007. Pale, fairly clear yellow-gold with no real head; no head and precious little haze, not good in this style....faint spicy aroma, a fair amount of wheat malt, ginger and coriander, nothing bad here but just not strong enough....the body by contrast is quite sweet, very light on the spices, quite yeasty in the middle....dries out quite a bit at the finish; strong carbonation....thoroughly unexceptional.
