gws57 (951), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Apr 26, 2008 Had this one draught at the brewpub in Michigan City, Indiana. Clear copper pour with a nice, tan head. Fruity, flowery nose; taste is muddled but balanced, a mix of piney hops and citrusy notes. Muddy finish. Not bad but not their best APA.
BBB63 (3676), La Porte, Indiana, USA May 19, 2008 Tap: Deep amber hue with a frothy head and okay lace. The aroma has notes of resiny and floral hops, apple and pineapple esters, dirty yeast, and bready malt. The taste is hop bitter and pale malt with a strange catty undertone. Slight pepper and mineral water upon the finish. The mouth feel is sprite and metallic. Something just doesnt sit right with me about the beer, muddled flavor profile. sneagrams3 (1342), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 15, 2008 Tasted late in the evening 4/27/08. This was the 9th sample from this palce. According to my notes, all my friends say I was drunk by this time. And judging by the scribble of words in my journal, they were right. Drunk or not this is what I scribbled...Hazy and golden. Dry with honey and bitter flavors. That’s it. railcat1 (478), Hammond, Indiana, USA Apr 29, 2008 This was a nice refreshing and flowery beer that was on tap at brewpub,i stopped in day after DLD and found a few nice and new refreshing beers and poured with a nice frothy head overall a good beer!CHEERS! mdm46410 (514), Griffith, Indiana, USA Apr 12, 2008 On tap at Shoreline and served in a shaker. This beer poured a clear amber with a lasting head of tan foam. Nice lacing. The aroma of the beer was made up of toffee and sweet, fruity hops. The flavor included sweet citrus, fresh pine, and sweet malts. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. A nicely crafted APA.
