Commercial Description:
Extremely refreshing American style wheat ale, made with over 30% wheat, and all Amarillo hops for a refreshing citrus balance. A great session ale.

Draught sample at the brewpub, June 19 2007. Pale, fairly clear yellow-gold with no real head; just a bit darker than the blueberry beer, with some lacing this time....faint, tart, grainy-bready aroma, a bit of dry honey....nice tart body, lots of malt character, sour-dough texture throughout, a touch of cranberry, long finish that grows more sour, solid somewhat high carbonation level.

This has a bright yellow body with a fluffy, sustained head. The aroma is a soft wheat with a touch of grapefruit, pine, and zest of lemon. The PNW hop bitterness picks up in thew flavor, nicely balanced with the malty sweetness, leaving a refreshingly bitter finish. Good sessionable stuff, as the name implies.

On tap at the brewpub. Golden with a light white head. Light wheaty malt with background hop aroma. Crisp malt flavor with some lemony character. Pleasant bitterness. Light on the tongue with moderate CO2. Enjoyable enough.
