hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA Oct 20, 2009 On tap at Shoreline Brewery. Miedium sized ivory fizzy head, transparent orange body, fair amount of lacing, and very little carbonation noted. The aroma was very malty, rye, hoppy, and some citrus and pine notes. The flavor mimicked the aroma. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light-medium bodied beer. A nicely balanced beer, easy to drink, not overly hoppy tasting, and worth trying. MoDog (909), Griffith, Indiana, USA Oct 10, 2009 On tap at Shoreline, served in a shaker. Lightly hazy reddish copper body with a thin head of bubbly tan foam that quickly faded into a lasting cap. Decent lacing. The aroma had caramel and rye along with some orange and citus hop notes. The flavor was much the same but also included that earthy house character found in most Shoreline offerings. Medium-bodied with very light carbonation. Decent. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 20, 2009 This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent uncarbonated copper brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was Irish Red malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of crystal malt. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. jezmez68 (332), Chesterton, Indiana, USA Dec 28, 2008 A very red ale. Quite a bit of hop bite to this, with rye ale. Very nice. Pours cloudy and red and amber with a small head. Looking forward to this being on tap more often. railcat1 (578), Orlando, Florida, USA Nov 28, 2008 On tap this is a malt monster with a nice little hop hit to it,it poured a reddish amber with a nice fluffy head overall this was a nice enjoyable beer and could be a good year round offering.CHEERS!
