(Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-04-25 -- shared with Sami N and Jake, thanks!) Amber and lightly hazy. Small white head. Honey, malts and nuts in aroma. Full bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation and warmth from alcohol. Honey, sweetness, fruitiness, nuts, caramell, bitterness and lightly saltiness in taste. Malts, honey and lightly bitterness in aftertaste.

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma is hops, fruits, yeast and some caramel. Flavour is toffee, fruity hops and some mild alcoholic sweetness. Aftertaste is rather peachy along with some alcohol and wood. Quite much a double IPA with some twisted notes. Pleasant and very drinkable.

Bottle shared by Hophead22. Aroma of roasted salty nuts. A very nice golden color. Tastes of honey roasted salty nuts. This is a very unique beer I loved it. Full of flavor love the honey and salty flavors.

Bottle shared by Hophead22. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with no head. Aroma is roasted nuts with a good deal of honey sweetness. Flavor is sweet and a bit salty with nuts and seeds (big surprise) and a great deal of honey. Also hints of fruits, spice, and alcohol. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Unique and tasty.

(Bottled, 0.75l, quite warm) Hazy amber with a small head. Dryish aroma of honey, dry (sunflower) seeds and grainy malt. Mead-like, sweet and somewhat alcoholic honey in the flavor, with grainy malt and floweriness. Medium to full body with soft, lowish carbonation. Some points for originality, but not necessarily for the flavor. Reminds me of Polish meads.

Sample from 750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is spot on the description- nutty, sunflower seeds, and sweetness coming from the honey. the flavor is similar to the nose - spicy, nutty, honey sweetness, and enough malt for it to come together nicely, with a hint of the 9.6% coming through as it warms. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is still pretty good after 2 years.
