Bottle thanks to ogglethorp: Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma, bready notes, nutty, toffee, and some fruits. Flavor, honey, nutty, some fruits, an earthiness to the finish. Pretty solid.

Poured a hazy copper color with an off-white head. Fruity with light alcohol and yeasty esters. The flavor has some more yeasty esters and mild honey notes. Sweet and warming.

This spiced ale pours a golden orange color from a 750ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is very sweet, honey, oranges and spices. A medium bodied spiced ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. It’s kind of nutty without being nutty. Which sort of explains the sunflower seeds. It’s a little sweet, perhaps a touch too much honey, but it’s definitely out there and big props for the effort. I would like to sit down and try this beer again in about 6 months. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Aroma is sweet with some earthy and foody hints. Taste is full of flavor of food. Fruit and nuts with some creamyness. Pretty sweet taste and drinkable for a beer with so much honey.
