| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 25, 2007 This spiced ale pours a golden orange color from a 750ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is very sweet, honey, oranges and spices. A medium bodied spiced ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. It’s kind of nutty without being nutty. Which sort of explains the sunflower seeds. It’s a little sweet, perhaps a touch too much honey, but it’s definitely out there and big props for the effort. I would like to sit down and try this beer again in about 6 months. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. yobdoog (1502), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
