Commercial Description:
Through the Randall Dry Hop System at the Michigan Brewers Guild Fest: Normally this beer is some kind of ridiculous Imperial IPA. I brew it bigger and more and more extreme to celebrate each year of surviving this incredible task of bringing real beer back to the people one pint at a time. Cheers!

Bottle from someone, can’t remember. I’m rating number 7? Good stuff! I thought this was really good and it seems that it was just average. It hides the alcohol real well. Pours gold with bubbly white head. Aroma of hops and hops. Good stuff! Taste was much of the same but with some citrus hints throughout. Very well balance with a sweet malty background thats not overpowering the hops. Very smoothe and refreshing.

Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, citrus fruits, and light toffee malts. Taste was hoppy, equally as hoppy as the dry hopped version, with less vanilla. Citrus, pine, and grapefruit, with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Surprised this is so under-rated, Thanks Steve!

12oz bottle acquired in trade with hoppymeal (thanks!!). Tasted side by side by side (Original , Dry hop, & Grapefruit versions). Poured a medium and clear amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, ’sticky’, and some pine. Tastes of caramel, citrus, pine, and a nice bitter finish. Out of the 3, I found this one to be the most bitter.

Draught at 2006 MBG Summer Festival. Pours a hazy amber with no head. Beautiful, juicy hops and malt aroma -- very well done and smells great. Flavour’s the same, big, juicy hops with a nice bitter finish -- damn tasty! Medium bodied. Very one-dimensional but I don’t care, this is a very enjoyable I2PA.

12oz bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a cloudy amber with a big white head. Nose is somewhat floral hops with a big dose of grapefruit on the backend. A hint of caramel denotes a malt background that doesn’t really come through much in the flavor. Crazy bitter up front with massive pine, grassy hops, nice tropical fruit flavor and really bitter long finish. To much for me but this is a really well made DIPA for those that love the really bitter stuff.

7-22-06. Dark copper, no head. Huge hop presence up front. Pine resin and citrus zest. Huge malt backbone. Reminds me of bigfoot in a way. Flavor confirms this, very heavy malt backbone, resinous. Huge pine and grapefruit. Over the top IIPA, few tweaks and this would be quite nice.
