Mar 22, 2008 On tap. Pours a dark copper/amber color with a medium sized off white head. Aroma is caramel, citrus, buttery. Flavor is caramel, malt, citrus, floral hops. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished on the sweet side. Very nice.

Feb 10, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy dark orange color. Head was white. Aroma was of distinct buttery caramel. There was mild hop bitterness of about 3 out of 10. Caramel, toffee, and flowery hop flavors struck a nice balance.

Oct 29, 2007 (Tap @ Tuba Charliels Travelers Club, Okemes, MI): Pours a cloudy brown color, light brown. White head. Fruity aroma, maybe some hops. Hoppy fruity spicy, pumpkiny taste. Very tasty. Balanced aftertaste.

Sep 23, 2007 On tap at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Hazy orange-brown body, thin to non-existent buff head. Light aroma (served too cold) of toast and bitter, citrusy hops. Crisp, toasty body, citrusy and piny, with abundant leafy hops leaving a light astringency in the finish. Light, muddy fruitiness beneath the toast and hops. Not very impressive.

Jan 28, 2007 Pours a nice amber as advertised. Smells of toast, hops, and caramel. Tastes more nutty with a little bit of a hop kicker. Not bad at all.
