Talk about bouquet... this is packed with spices, so if you’re not into that you should probably skip this one. Crisp, and one of the lighter pumpkin beers, the complexity of spices here reminds me of spice cake. I can taste some molasses like flavor, cloves and nutmeg, and then it’s very strong cinnamon on the back end. It is a lot reminiscent of GLBC Christmas Ale, but with pumpkin. gearbike (419), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA

A nice combination of a very wet like pumkin flavor with a moth tingling amount of spice. Has that very spicy pumkin pie taste without the heavy feeling like you are eating a pie. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 28, 2008 Growler courtesy of Rogueone. Pours a deep amber/light brown with no head. Aroma of strong clove with a fairly strong cinnamon and nutmeg presence. I want my pumpkin beers to be heavily spiced, and the aroma of this one does not disappoint. Flavor is strong clove and nutmeg up front, finished with cinnamon and just enough hop to add some balance. Solid pumpkin brew. VeloVampire (491), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Big spicy aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon, along with a good malt backbone. Nice and thick in the mouth with lots of cinnamon, but not "heavy" and quite drinkable. Soft but mildly spicy palate and nicely carbonated. Quality beer, and perfect for this time of year. northernbrews (18), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Pours a orangish brown w/ few finger khaki head. Slight lacing on my goblet.
Starts w/ some pumpkin pie spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and pumpkin. Little bit of malty sweetness too. Wish the aroma was a little more intense though.
It starts a little creamy w/ similar flavors as the nose, but just less pronounced. Not much in the after taste. You get the pumpkin and spice flavors in the beginning then it kind of fades to nothing.
Starts creamy on the palate and the flavors hang around for a little bit. There a slight warming feeling probably due to the spices.
Nice sessionable Pumpkin/Autumn ale. Wish the flavors were more pronounced. Tmoney99 (4797), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured clear dark orange rust color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid spicy pumpkin pie aroma. Moderate body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium pumpkin spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Solid seasonal beer. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

The aroma is a touch earthy, but mainly offers pumpkin and spice. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. The well-balanced flavor is lightly spicy. Crisp, mostly clean finish. Thanks to GoT and northernbrews for sharing the growler! sebletitje (2000), Tampa, Florida, USA

pours amber, thin off-white head.
Aroma and flavor, pumpkin was light in the nose, hints of grain and malt, light bready palate with some spices that were more hidden. Hints of caramel and a rather weak pumpkin finish.
