May 29, 2009 Thanks ogglethorp. Pours a hazy copper, leaning towards amber, with a large, sudsy, yellowish head, leaving a respectable lace. Aroma is pine-aromatic hops, with bits of citrus, light touches of caramel and alcohol. First impression sipping through the head is carbonic sourness and hops bitterness, which didn’t impress. After the head dies down, the carbonic taste goes away, and hops bitterness is the main flavor. Initially a lot more bitterness than hops aroma, but about halfway through the glass, the other flavors emerged. Hops bitterness still dominated, but citrus banana, light caramel, and yeasty elements balanced it. Medium body, pleasant hops burn on the palate.

May 28, 2009 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, light pine, toasted malts, light caramel, light resin, and slight citrus. Poured amber/copper in color with a medium-sized, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Barely sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, light caramel, toasted malt, light toffee, resin, and light pine. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Slightly bitter, lightly sweet, caramel and hop finish. Needs to be MORE BITTER.

May 27, 2009 Bottled...Golden color with a nice lasting creamy white head. Aroma is a technical knockout of fresh grapefruity hops. Great complexity in the hop flavors here, with grapefruit and grass noticeable as well as some pine. some malt sweetness, and a bitter finish. Very nice.

May 22, 2009 Bottle thanks to dmschefke. Poured a golden amber color with a pretty small head. Aroma was some hoppiness. Not as much fruit but more of an herbal earthiness with a light carmel maltiness. A pretty easy to drink beer but not the profile of hops i look for in an IPA.

May 21, 2009 Bottle, thanks to Jimbowood. Orange-amber pour with just a little white head. Aroma is some fruity malt, bittering herbal hops and light citrus rind. Flavor is the same, medium bitterness mostly herbal, mixing with fruity and grainy malt. Flowery bitter finish.

May 21, 2009 12oz bottle 3/30/09 (Glen’s Market)-Pours a dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and grapefruit. Flavor was the same with some bitterness and a little malt. Finish was dry. This medium bodied brew was a nice IPA and well balanced.

May 19, 2009 Dayum! Now that’s what I’m talking about! Pours a cloudy orange with very little head. The body is dry, as is finish. Lots of floral hop characteristics - reminds me of Uberhoppy in a way. Some pine in there too.
